Good service. The Car was good but It should have USB plug.
Minor mistakes by staff when giving prices of extra items. Customers should know prices with taxes before deciding.
Also, about deposit reimbursement . Customers should be informed that the company has ordered It right away if everything has gone as established.

Dear Sixt car rental, I have a very bad experience with you in Frankfurt. First I had to wait two hours for a car that wasn't there. And then you charged me 1000 extra kilometers on the invoice that I didn't drive. This could all be fixed, I wrote to support three times. But I never got a reply in a whole week. How do we fix this?

The car was great and the condition etc was very good.
However, the issue came when I got the wrong rental contract of the car and the car was not checked when handed over to me. When I returned the car they said that there is unrecorded damage on the car, which is not my fault as they should have checked the car beforehand and not add the damage to me.

Other than that, I paid fully plus the deposit on pick-up, 2 days after my rental started I got a sms from my bank of a charge of 300€. When I asked sixt they said that it’s a deposit charge and we will refund it on return. But why charge me additional deposit (total 605€). I had major issues with my credit limit during my trip just because of the extra charge which shouldn’t have been done and sixt did nothing to help or reverse the charge and just sent me a one line sentence saying “you will get it back”.

That is clearly not sixt standards.

If it was possible to give 0 stars, I would.
The absolute lowest of the low on customer service, with the Sixt colleague being rude and COMPLETELY unapologetic.
On April 30th, we had a truck rental for 48 hours. My partner arrived at the Sixt branch to pick up the vehicle but an IT error meant that our payment had not gone through. After he proposed MULTIPLE solutions which were all met with sarcasm and eye rolling (pay with his card - didn't go through/pay with cash - not possible/make a bank transfer-not possible), I was forced to ALSO come to the Sixt branch to pay with a different card. This fiasco made us lose two hours of precious time during which we were supposed to MOVE OUR ENTIRE HOUSE. These two lost hours were never refunded. No apology was made by the staff. In fact their attitude was rude, 'it's not my problem' type.
Now today, we ONCE AGAIN tried to use the Sixt service to rent a truck for 4 hours. Three hours before our start time, we were called and told that 'there are no trucks available'. Three hours before, really? After we both take time off of work and make all necessary arrangements?
Thanks for another disgraceful encounter with your subpar customer service, Sixt. I HIGHLY discourage anyone to come to this company. Lateness, IT failures, no apology, no commercial conduct, and snide remarks from the personnel are all that you can expect here.

I had a bad experience with Sixt because of the credibility is Zero. You’re gonna agree with them on something and in actual totally different than what you have agreed on. I agreed and paid them for BMW 5 series or similar and when I came to collect the car they told me the car isn’t available right now because you came late 3 hours and there are only 2 cars available (Mazda x3 or Mazda 6) they gave me Mazda x3 with the same price as BMW 5 series!!
How come!!!?

This is my first and my last time to deal with them.

I had a great experience renting from SIXT. The car I received was an upgrade from what I booked and everything went well. I strongly recommend this rental agency.

They were nice as long as I was their customer but when the booking was over, they stopped replying to my emails. I left glasses in the car and despite sending several emails and submitting a lost and found request, they didn’t reply.

In addition, they are super money oriented and have a propensity to rob. Here are two examples:
When I was here, waiting for my turn, I saw them charging €850 for 10 days from a couple who didn’t book online. How do I know that they were over charging? Because I paid $232 for 6 days when I booked online for a similar car.

Another example: they charged me €15 when I casually mentioned that I plan to drive the car outside of Germany. When I emailed them later asking about where on their website it says that I need to pay €15 for driving the car outside of Germany, they never replied back. Eventually, I had to put it in a dispute through my bank.
