With time and visiting again to Zaika so many times, it has become one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Frankfurt.
The quality and taste of food is amazing. It has authentic Indian taste. You can find the owner himself preparing dishes in the kitchen, and I believe this brings the quality. It has an indoor seating as well as outside in the terrace. It also has a hall which could be rented out for private functions, in such case, one can also order for buffet lunch or dinner as per own wish. The restaurant also takes order for individual or bulk deliveries.
The price doesn't burns a hole in the pocket at all.
There is plenty of parking available there. The stop for public transport is bit far (appx. 1 km), but worth walking.

Just one star for good food.
Mismanagement and arrogance of the owners are the key highlights of this restaurant.
Single BIG groups BEWARE!!
Shockingly poor service rendered.
You should give your orders at a stretch. Asking for a drink or a dish at different time can be lethal. My husband wanted to soothe his throat with a cup of warm tea. The staff(owners) said they will serve it only after the food and finally the tea did not show up at all. Denying to be seated near the locals were way beyond limits.
Billing was the next mess . Immensely ignorant and rude to customers. This restaurant is a complete mood spoiler.

Top class food! but irritating service..

Total disaster !..felt like the treatment is based on ethnics - blunt comments made like :" you are not locals - so you cannot chose the table !" way more to learn in terms of hospitality and service. Could not handle our group of 10 and were very rude and arrogant .. even after complaining they failed to understand our comments and kept arguing that we made the biggest mistake by not ordering everything together...

When ordered one after the other they said :" you are not supposed to do so- should rather do it all together " and that is a rule !!!!

Never heard that in my dining experience till date ..(35 years and still dining out!)
They live in a world of Utopia and thinks they can sell belligerent service and customers will gulp the whole thing ..pathetic !

Bitter ,sour and ungenial..

A comment to conclude : if you can tolerate being served the greatest Indian food with the most heinous service which you will regret your entire life- eat here..

Strongly not recommended

First things first: The indian food served was above average

But the rest of it was a nightmare. The lowlight was the indifferent attitude of the owner duo who served us. Or atleast they claim to have served us. The level of arrogance of the pair was beyond comprehension.

We were 5 indian families with kids coming back from vacation after driving more than 275 kms and visited the restaurant to have our dinner. And a set of bizzare rules were then suddenly imposed on us
1. As we were not locals (referring to their german customers) we could not opt to sit out on the terasse which had the only fan(ventilator) of the restaurant. We were asked to sit inside.
2. Eventhough one of our friend wanted a tea before food, the order was refused and he was told that tea would be only served after food.
3. When we complained about food being late, the owner shows me another guest who doesnt complain although he hasnt got his food since 2 hours and that we should be like him.

In short they would decide where we sit, what we eat and when we eat it.

It was a total disaster both in terms of service and hospitality. This place is not worth visting at all. I would not recommend it any further

Best damn naan in the city, friendly owners, authentic flavor. Absolute gem especially for a summer afternoon with your family. Indoor and outdoor seating. Many vegetarian options. Been regularly eating here for over a year, by far my favorite Indian restaurant in Roedelheim.

For the best experience with naan, always eat it fresh at the restaurant. I’m a vegetarian so I can not speak for the quality of the meat dishes.

I see some other reviews are not happy with the service but I’ve never had bad service. This is a family restaurant so don’t expect something fancy- however they are very accommodating.

Unbefitting service!!! Rude staff!!! Clumsy environment!!!
Staff who are not sure about their menu to inappropriate comments forced me writing a review .
Unacceptable waiting time for taking orders and when enquired, they where too busy handling 2 smaller groups( Max of 5 people in total).
Forgetting word of mouth is the strongest tool for marketing, they kept taunting their customers ( different ethnic groups served differently).
What can be more regrettable than going to Zaika? I could not find one till now.
