Decor was awesome. Food was fantastic, quite tasty, not too spicy and not greasy. Perfect.! You eat with your hands. Ordered a Pinotage red wine which was a great addition to the meal. It was quite a cultural experience. Recommended. Two ppl with nice tip 70 euro.

Cozy restaurant with tasty traditional Ethiopian food. We had a mixed Demera platter and Ye Doro Wet (Alicha) with injera (it was an all gluten free choice). The food is eaten by hand and can be served seperately or as a shared platter. We choose the latter. The food is freshly prepared. Our server was a very kind and happy woman who left no questions or requests unanswered. The coffee was excellent as well, I absolutely recommend to try some! Also, the prices were very fair and the hygienic facilities were clean. We are looking forward to our next visit there!

Excellent african food and drinks, courteous service, friendly waiters.
If you need help with the food, do not hesitate to ask, the waiter was speaking both German and English. Besides that, the menus are bilingual as well (in German and English).
They have few Ethiopian drinks (I liked the Tej), but also normal beers, wines and spirits.
Try to get a bigger table, as the food is served in authentic(?) big platters.
The restaurant has few tables outside as well as inside - I recommend the outside seating, as the street is relatively quiet, and the surroundings are very green.

Demera is one of the best Ethiopian restaurants in Germany. You can feel the little Ethiopia in this place. The traditional coffee ceremony is amazing and the price is reasonable.
