I really love their brunch and breakfast selections, in addition they have a great variety of cakes - love their cheese cake and blueberry coco Torte. Usually 15-20mins waiting time during weekend busy hours.
Maybe only one downside is that the toilet temperature is 15 degree lower than the restaurant in winter… not big deal tho.

I visited this restaurant more than once with friends. The atmosphere in the place is comfortable, the service is excellent and the food is very tasty. They also welcome dogs. I recommend

The Picknick Café Bornheim on Berger Straße is a little gem in this busy area.
The interior is decorated in a cozy mediterranean style.
Menu offers a wide range of different foods: arab food, cakes, pancakes, sandwiches and more.
We had a really tasty mezes plate with a mix of arab starters. Cocktails were great. Coffee nice.
Staff is extraordinarily friendly and attentive.
Great place to enjoy!

Really nice coffee/breakfast place with space outside and inside to enjoy with some friends. They are offering coffee, breakfast, lunch and some tasty cakes.

So beautiful place. Staff its super friendly and nice, they have got a big smile for you and always try to make you comfy. The place its beautiful. And the food its something else. Flavours inspired in the marrokanisch kitchen. You can enjoy too those tasty homemade cakes. A place that you will be back thousands times. So close to U-bah 4 Bornheim Mitte. With exterior terrace.

There is a big choice of cakes, also vegan ones, as well as vegetarian dishes. I really loved the mango-coconut layer cake and it cost 3.5€. The coffee is ok, could be better. They tend to be very busy on weekends.
