Excellent museum, and only €6 to get in, the history is very interesting, both how they found the ruins and how this lived in the Jewish quarter in the past. They do a really good job of bringing the history alive.

all of the signs are in English with the exception of the intro video as they have removed the translation headphones due to Covid.

I’d really recommend asking to visit the Jesus cemetery next door, when your finished at the museum ask for the key, you have to leave a form of ID as a deposit.

A must see. It's the only way to understand how life was for the Jews when they were forced to live in one small area, including the rich and the poor. Politically, it is amazing the remains were preserved. Don't miss the cemetery directly adjacent to the building. It is a sad reminder.

Great museum with interactive exhibit, very good audio, maps, and storytelling. Appreciate their stewardship of the cementary as well. Worth your time!

Do not miss this museum if you are in Frankfurt longer. It is made really interesting, including things for kids (so you can visit with your kid as well), it tells an interesting story about the first Jewish getto in the world, with real artifacts and archeological findings. Ask for the key to the cemetery as well, it has a powerfull message. Advise: this is not the Jewish museum, that one is another one, much bigger one.

Beautifully curated historical site with interesting media installations. The graveyard next door is also worth a visit.

Very nice modern building built over the foundations of three houses on the former street Judengasse. There is also a good video of the history of the district.
Access to the Jewish Cemetery is through this museum.
