The staff is extremely polite and friendly. The museum is nice. Icons are mostly from Russia, Ukraine, Greece and Ethiopia. I highly recommend it.

Plenty icons with Oklad and without. Virgin depictions and further.
There are enough icons to take 1h to view but not more, so that the museum doesn't drag on for too long. For me it's the perfect balance of time and content.
Entry price is more than fair at 5€

Definitely worth a visit. Very helpful staff on the ticket desk and the curator was really interesting and informative.

If you do like Christian Orthodox Art then this is the right place for you to be.
This museum is pretty small but contains many Orthodox icons. The entry fee is just 4 Euros and for students it is only 2 Euros.
Most of the works come from Russia ????????, but they have also Orthodox art from countries like Romania ???????? and Greece ????????.
They have also art pieces from the Coptic community in Egypt ???????? and from the Christians from Syria ????????. This museum also has a quite unique collection of Ethiopian Orthodox art ???????? in an own room.

The museum is not that large and most people spend just half an hour here. But it is still quite interesting if you appreciate the Orthodox art.

A beautiful, rather small museum, with a collection of icons originating mainly from Russia, Greece and Ethiopia. I highly recommend it.
It's located close to the Main river and is a nice stop during a walk along the river and through the park.

Euro 5 for entrance. The museum is very small but have some cool artifacts.

Here we are in 2022, in the financial capital of Europe, in the time of plague and this place is cash only. You know. Like the village museum of farming tools that no-one visits.
