Hotel Scala Frankfurt City Centre

There was no hot water in the room.
Carpets were dirty and the hair dryer was not working.
Used water bottles were not replaced even after inquiry.
They have very bad online booking system and you receive no confirmation after booking.
Overall was a very disappointed stay although it was a business trip with multiple colleagues.
All of them had the same feeling about this hotel.
The only thing good about the place was the location hence one star.

The hotel is in very good location of Frankfurt, a lot of cultural places could be visited during walking. Quality of room is correspond to price, also a numbers of small cafes and restrains are placed surround. Night were quite that is also plus for a hotel near city center.

There was no hot water for 2 days. On the first morning, the man at the reception desk said, he'll look into it. But nothing happened. On the second morning, I told him again that it still didn't come. He just said rudely, "yeah I will look into it." Room was comfortable, but no hot water + rude receptionist made it a bad experience.

Really good location (just a bit of noise from outside on the weekend as there is a pub and a couple of kebab place just in front of the hotel) and clean rooms

An ok hotel with room for improvement on the cleanliness since we found hairs on our bed that didn't belong to us as soon as we arrived...

The hotel in relation to cleanliness I can say that it is perfect, but the hotel loses by the reception service, the attendant was cold and was not careful to be receptive to me and my friends. the hotel is very central with easy access to the city on foot.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff. Clean room but bit hard bed for me personally. Noisy outside during the night, but that's the center for ya. Would recommend.
