Been there some time ago and keep thinking to leave a review.
The restaurant is located in a quiet little part of Essen. It's an approx. 15min drive from city centre, however, the journey is definitely worth it. The food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is very warm and welcome and the staff is friendly. You can tell the owners do care about each guest. I had a flawless dinner experience and there is no doubt I will visit this restaurant again on future trips to Germany.

I was in Essen for one night on business and we picked this restaurant on a whim. We chose well. Warm atmosphere, friendly staff, superb beer and excellent food. The bacon wrapped dates with spinach, cheese and pomegranate seeds starter was stunning. Highly recommended.
