Great place to enjoy Italian food in the middle of the old town. A cozy place with a view on the kitchen and outside.
The food is great and fresh with a fair variety of dishes though no ravioli :(. However the stuffed gnocchi was awesome and their tiramisu is really good. The wine list is exhaustive and for all wallets.
The service was also nice and we enjoyed our time there.

I visited the restaurant around Halloween on the weekend. Maybe because of the timing Saturday evening the place was full so very crowded. This can be a good sign so that the place is popular and food is good however I left with mixed feelings just to share some:

- As mentioned the place was full and very busy so unfortunately also very loud kind of pub feeling. This was not so good for us as I rather wished to have quite and calm place. It may not be a problem for you if you like this. I just thought that this is a quiet and calm place.

- We asked some starters which was supposed to be Focaccia however it was thin pizza pasta. What is however was good that there is by default some sort of starter so fresh bread and maybe Mascarpone with olives so that one was good actually I enjoyed more than my main dish.

- Waiting for the main dish was extreme long so more than an hour.

- Once main dish was served which was fine the food was ok. Unfortunately, as there is no English menu available for international people I cannot recommend the place or check the menu online before you go. So as there were no English menu I did not know that what was written so I got the meet medium instead of how I like (well done). It was written on the menu that all meets are prepared medium so they won’t ask you... so be careful.

- I was sitting close to the door (so this is not the modern glass section) and it was a colder day. Sadly the sheaf was going for a smoke every 5 minutes. That is not my business however he always left the inside door (as there are two doors) open so both doors were open when he went out or come back. The guests including me was sometimes feeling cold as because of that. Why just cannot see that the door was closed so you keep it closed for your guests?

- Unfortunately after giving signal and saying that I would like to pay I had to wait another 25 minutes for the bill to come. At that point I kind of just went to pay as I did not want to wait longer.

Even with a language barrier, had lovely service and good tasting food. Parking wasn't the best but there was an event on nearby and expect that was the issue and not the restaurants

The service was friendly and quick. The pizzas have a thin crust which is sooo delicious!

Extraordinary view from the restaurant which is situated in the old Town of Kettwig. I 100% recommend
