Came for the carnival. There was a small stage with some Funkemarie dancing :) they all did a great job for entertaining, not forget to mention that the youngest was 8yr old.
I guess the event went for 2hrs but the time just flew past. I enjoyed the show very much and in the end the new couple threw some lollies in the crowd ????thumbs up????

A very nice mall/gallery for go with friends/family/etc and eat, enjoy time, walk. I recommend because its also in the center of the city and it has bus and train integrated and that makes it easier for tourists to go.

Rathaus Essen is a ok ok Type of place with no major brands or shopping outlets.

The place is highly accessible with train and bus. Just outside the Rathaus is the main or busy street of Essen with major brands and restaurants.

Good place to be with family on weekend.

Middle of the city, shoping centrum, bus station AND a city hall not having any free restroom is a joke to me.

Quite a big place with a lot of shops and a few restaurants. Unfortunately we only had time to visit during the evening so not much time to go around. Bought some sweets from a dedicated shop. There are DM and Decathlon shops and an underground metro station that caught my eye.

Nice place to visit, you can find everything you want: pharmacy, Clothes Shopping, Restaurants and Supermarket
