Probably a nice place to stay, but I didn't realize that you can only check in until 10 pm. I arrived late and called them, but they canceled (for free) and I had to find another hotel to stay at 10.30 pm at night.

Super friendly small family owned hotel, clean and perfect breakfast. The ownly setback is if you are a non smoker you will feel the strong cigarette smell.

Nice hotel with comfortable and clean room. Breakfast is complete, tasty and big quantity. Perfect for a business stay in Essen, well located.

The rooms are rather big but a bit wourn down. But the bathroom was really fresh. The people owning the hotel was nice and I liked the breakfast.
