For everyone who’s travelling with pets… on app booking.com hotel is filtered as pet friendly however… it’s not true. I’ve just booked a room for us and our cat and I’ve sent a message to a hotel that we’ll be travelling with our cat. And unfortunately I’ve been told that we’re not allowed to as the hotel is pet free :) be careful if you’re travelling with your pet as you might spend a night in your car :)

Really nice hotel. I asked if we could pay for parking up front and then come and go as we wanted but the person on the reception desk said this was not possible. I asked another member of the staff the next morning and she said it was no problem and did it for me!

Room was comfy and had nice cold AC, shower had enough pressure to wash the mud off a 4x4 and the breakfast was enjoyable.

The only problem I had was that I kept wondering if it was pronounced G...Hotel, or if you should instead say Gho...tel, but with a silent H, like GOtel. Sometimes I wonder if I think about things too much?

The room was nice and the breakfast was good. Sadly, parts of the staff was unfriendly and cocky. Also, we were there visiting SPIEL21 and Ghotel told us that they had a game room for us to play in every evening. Sadly they chose to charge 8€ per person and evening for using it. Even though we could ”buy” drinks for the 8€ it felt forced and unwelcoming. When we told the staff that we thought the fee was contraproductive (we would surely spend more than 8€ each if using the gameroom was free but now we deliberately chose not to), they reacted in a very defensive and unfriendly way. No Ghotel, you are certainly ”not the other hotels” as your receptionist dismissively told us when we expressed our feelings while checking out. Will choose another place to stay during SPIEL22.

Good service, small reception bar area which was full most of the time, we took our drinks to the breakfast area. Good breakfast. They were over capacity due to the Christmas markets when we went, I suspect it's much more peaceful the rest of the year.

Rooms are nice and clean, and the walls are thick enough that you don't get bothered by other people.

The breakfast was good, but the dinner menu was amazing! It took some time to arrive, but was really worth the wait.
