Beautiful interior, be sure to view both the small chapel and the main cathedral and go down the stairs to see the crypt

Peaceful and calm place to reflect and offer prayers. The big crucifix outside also feels solemn.

It is easy to find this because it is just in the middle of the busy shopping streets of essen.

Top and perhaps the only place to see in central Essen. Golden Madonna is magnificent. There are few more pieces of art surviving. Otherwise, the cathedral is quite empty- I guess due to the bombing campaign during Second World War.

a very particular catedral. It‘s not so big and not so stunning like other catedrals in Germany, but for me it‘s a very good experience to get inside and feel the peace.

Quiet place to pray. Very well maintained! There is a ramp for wheelchair and stroller. 12 o’clock pray at working days.

A beautiful church with amazing architecture. The masses are held at both adoration church and the Dom ( Big one). I used to attend Mass at adoration church at 7 am on weekday and at 10 am in the Dom church on Sunday. More timings are available in the Essen minister website.
