@jordanvank - reconsider your expectations. Duncans sells and services high-end Italian espresso machines. Can definitely recommend their knowlegde and consultancy. And from their line of in-house roasts, Skeleton Man espresso is my absolute favorite!

[edit after 5yrs] Meanwhile we have moved to their "A/X" roast, which I perceive even more refined. I am excited that after tasting more than 30 'local' roasteries around the world, my preferred one is still within 10 min reach.
With all that praise, there’s ways to grow, team Duncans: You can turn up a notch on the continuity of your friendliness towards loyal customers.

Ich habe schon in vielen Röstereien Kaffee gekauft aber der Skeleton Man Espresso von euch ist einfach der beste Kaffee den ich kenne.

Ich hab damals spontan mit den Mitarbeitern über ein Problem meiner Maschine gesprochen und man wird hier wirklich gut und kompetent beraten. Man fühlt sich nicht gedrängt den Service unbedingt hier machen zu lassen sondern bekommt auch einfach mal einen guten Tipp. Dafür habe ich dann aber meine Mühle hier gekauft.

Für jeden der Kaffee liebt ist dieser Laden einen Besuch wert.

Lasst euch nicht von der „kleinen“ Auswahl an Röstkaffees abschrecken. Hier werden nicht 100 Sorten angeboten sondern nur eine Handvoll, dafür ist aber einer besser als der nächste.

Dieser Laden verfügt über sehr gutes Fachwissen.
Meinen Siebträger habe ich schon 2010 oder 2011 an dem alten Standort gekauft (einer der besten Investitionen meines Lebens!!).
Natürlich waren in 10 Jahren zwei oder 3 Reparaturen. Aber absolut im Rahmen. Und auch auf Nachfrage konnte ich dann im Rahmen meiner Reparatur die Entkalkung selber durchführen und der Preis wurde etwas gesenkt.
Besonders gut gefällt mir neben dem guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis (dafür muss man nur mal in vergleichbare Läden gehen), dass es sich um eine Familien-Unternehmen handelt.
Gerade die individuelle Art von Vater und Sohn gefällt mir sehr gut. Der Sohn ist sehr nett und auch wenn man mit dem Vater ins Gespräch kommt, dann merkt man, dass die hier teilweise "schroffe" Art des ursprünglichen Inhabers zwar speziell, aber total klasse und liebenswert ist.
