The concert hall is very modern and stylish. We had a chance to visit ballet Swan lake and seated in the 9 row where we had a great view. The hall acoustic was perfect and we enjoyed the classical music. Snacks were offered during a break and right before the beginning of the ballet. We also went up to the balcony and the view from there is not that good, the scene seems to be very far and small. Overall, it was a good performance at the great place!

Nice little concert hall. We went to see Nick Cave and had a great time. Bathrooms are a little bit far away from the stage. You have to go up 2 floors, which was not a big deal for me, but I saw no elevators for people with disabilities or the Elderly. Who knows... maybe I just missed them????. The venue is a couple of stops away from Essen HBF. You can take the S-Bahn.

The redhead and I have been attending musicals together for nearly twenty years here in Germany, the UK and the United States and this is still one of our favorite theaters. We always drive up early so we're not stressed out from making the start time so having so much to do while waiting for the doors to open is a bonus we truly enjoy!!!

Very nice place. Very close to center. It is near Limbecker platz shopping center only 2 metro sops from Essen Central station. Atmosphere in Colosseum is special. Feels like in fancy very old renovated factory.

Beautiful place. Was there for a corporate party but the setting was stunning.
