Essen needs more places like this. While you find some Asian fusion cuisine mostly in Rüttenscheid area, Noodlehouse Lan was the most authentic Asian food experience I came across in Essen.

Specialized in Chinese Noodle Soups, their broths are extremely rich in flavor, noodles are perfectly cooked and presentation is spot on. Great service and very fair prices.

Highly recommended if you’re looking for good, authentic food. After moving to Europe, I was having difficulty finding good noodles and now I finally found them! We enjoyed the coziness and ambiance. There were plenty of nice thoughtful touches throughout the space. I can’t wait to come back to enjoy another dish that I haven’t had in a while. Only good things at Noodlehouse Lan!

Not only was the food delicious, but the Staff was incredibly friendly!
I loved the ambient. The music was nice and relaxing, and the whole place had a feeling like "home".

It was really great and I really liked that they are so polite.
I really wanna come back but I need more vegetarian options.
I'm looking forward to it!
