Ein super sauberer Dönerladen mit nettem, ruhigem Personal. Der Döner (Dürüm) war sehr lecker, lediglich die Soßen könnten noch optimiert werden. Scharfe Soße ist leider nicht scharf und die Kräutersoße könnte weniger Yogurt-lastig sein. Insgesamt aber ein toller Döner. ????

Ordnung und Sauberkeit sind vorbildlich.

Sauce: Arkadas has garlic, yoghurt, curry and hot sauces on offer. I had yogurt sauce and hot sauce which both tasted good. The hot sauce is quite mild.

Ambience: Arkadas is located quite inconspicuously in the Pargamentergasse halfway between Domplatz and the former Orange Jungle. Arkadas was completely renovated in mid-2020 and has reopened since October last year. Accordingly, the entire facility as well as the counter is in a very new and well-kept condition. The counter is located directly to the right of the entrance door. If you walk past her on the right there is a seating area for 10-12 people. There is also an outdoor area in the courtyard with 4 tables. Next to the entrance door there is a small order window which is mostly used in the evening.

Service: During the day it is very quiet at Arkadas, but (outside of lockdown) it can get a bit crowded in the evening hours. In the summer from 9 p.m. it can happen that 3-4 people are in line in front of you and you have to wait a short time. Since there are always 2 employees on site in the evening, you will still receive your order very quickly.

Price: € 4.50

Conclusion: Although Arkadas does not differ significantly from the other kebab shops in Erfurt at first glance, there is one point that hardly any other kebab shop has to offer. Anyone who has already spent a long evening on the Petersberg and then still fancy a kebab on the way home has come to the right place at Arkadas. Thanks to the long opening hours from 01:00 on Friday and Saturday (sometimes 1 ½ hours longer), you can also have a kebab late at night.

Fleisch: Das Fleisch war lecker und recht saftig.

Brot: Das Fladenbrot war etwas dünn, ist aber zum Glück nicht gerissen

Salat: Der Salat war frisch und war gut verteilt, auch wenn am unteren Ende der Salat im Vergleich zum Fleisch doch überwogen hat.

Soße: Arkadas hat Knoblauch-, Joghurt-, Curry- und scharfe Soße im Angebot. Ich hatte Joghurt- und scharfe Soße welche beide gut geschmeckt haben. Die scharfe Soße ist recht mild.

Ambiente: Arkadas befindet sich recht unscheinbar in der Pergamentergasse auf halber Strecke zwischen Domplatz und ehemals Orange Jungle. Mitte 2020 wurde Arkadas komplett saniert und hat seit Oktober letzten Jahres wieder geöffnet. Dementsprechend ist die gesamte Einrichtung sowie die Theke in einem sehr neuen und gepflegten Zustand. Direkt rechts neben der Eingangstür befindet sich die Theke. Wenn man rechts an ihr vorbeiläuft gibt es einen Sitzbereich für 10-12 Personen. Zudem gibt es einen Außenbereich im Hof mit 4 Tischen. Neben der Eingangstür gibt es ein kleines Bestellfenster welches am Abend meist genutzt wird.

Service: Tagsüber ist es bei Arkadas sehr ruhig, jedoch kann es (außerhalb des Lockdowns) in den Abendstunden doch ein bisschen voller werden. Im Sommer ab 21:00 kann es schon mal sein das 3-4 Leute vor einen in der Schlange sind und man kurz warten muss. Da Abends jedoch immer 2 Mitarbeiter vor Ort sind erhält man seine Bestellung trotzdem sehr schnell.

Preis: 4,50€

Fazit: Obwohl Arkadas sich auf den ersten Blick von den anderen Dönerläden in Erfurt nicht nennenswert unterscheidet gibt es doch einen Punkt den kaum ein anderer Döner zu bieten hat. Wer schon mal einen langen Abend auf dem Petersberg verbracht hat und dann auf dem Heimweg noch Lust auf einen Döner hat ist bei Arkadas genau richtig. Dank der langen Öffnungszeit von 01:00 Uhr am Freitag und Samstag (teilweise auch mal 1 ½ Stunden länger) hat man die Möglichkeit auch noch Spät in der Nacht einen Döner zu Essen.
