Honestly, it’s very hard to understand the last reviews. We have been here three times, before writing a review.
My personal opinion is, never write a review if your aren’t precise and experienced in this kind of kitchen. Don’t complain about prices if you have no idea of such gourmet chefs. Get your complaints to the kitchen and not to Google, except you were disappointed after a second visit where your brought your thoughts to the team at your first visit.
Always keep in mind, your Google review can really hurt. I did some bad Google reviews too, but thought about it before many times.
I am not, in any way, belonging to the Zweierlei, only a user who is very upset reading these reviews lacking true contents.
Back to the wonderful Zweierlei:
Well, our third visit has been as amazing as the ones before. Wonderful dishes, worth one Michelin star although they don’t have one yet.
Every dish has been precisely planned concerning textures and taste composition. Portions are a little too big within the 5 course menu (€71) we had, but they are aware of this already. Quality in each and every dish has been absolutely wonderful. We personally love the service although I think, due to his partly relaxed behaviour , it could be a distinguished experience for others.
This is place for gourmets, don’t go there if you like to have standard food as you will be stressed by the textures and taste. It’s not for beginners.
If you are experienced, don’t waste a minute planning to get here, just do. It’s worth, even cheap, every Euro.
Good luck for the Zweierlei, their personality and intentions are exact the way it needs to be!
Had a long conversation with the chef , he is young, experienced and full of ideas.
I am writing this after visiting may be 50 different Michelin star restaurants in Europe, believe me I know what I am talking about.
Please don’t believe the bad reviews here.
Update June 2021 :
First visit after Covid Lockdown : incredible quality. Wonderful ideas and setups. Definitely worth one Michelin star! Portions came down to a perfect size within 7 dishes menu.
