This cozy establishment at the heart of the Altstadt is possibly my favorite cocktail bar in Düsseldorf. There's an excelent range of classic and special drinks which are all blended to perfection. Prices are fair and the service is friendly. A must for any cocktail-lover.

I didn’t go to melody since long long time and last week happened that frinds of ours were there and invited us for a drink.
We stayed till the end…. Soooo good experience. Ivone and the rest of the team made us feel like home, the place is small and the vibe was super friendly. Everyone were dancing, speaking and rly connecting with each other.
Give this place a shot.. I think you will feel what I’m saying.

Nice little cocktail bar, bit hidden, cosy atmosphere. The type of place you go to with 1 or 2 friends to talk and drink fantastic cocktails; not really recommended for big groups. I can recommend the cocktail with three types of rum and muscat, which had a nice original taste and enough alcohol to kill a medium sized rodent. Friendly staff too!

One of my favourite cocktail bars in this part of the town. Small, cosy and quiet place. Good for catching up with friends and have a chat. Always filled with people from different stratas. It's quite a mix crowd and the staff is very warm and welcoming. A clear recommendation. Most of the classics are on the menu.

The 1 star review is influenced by my personal experience. The bar looks fine, with a nice counter and places to sit at the counter but way too small. If you are sitting at the counter, the person passing through has to squeeze to fit. A pair of tables are available if you do not have a place at the counter. If you decide to go there, you will mostly end up standing the whole time.
My story: I went there with 5 friends to drink cocktails. One of them did not like cocktails so he decided to go to the next door bar to get a Guinness beer. We ordered the cocktails, and while we waited, the friend with beer came in, came at us to acknowledge he already got his beer and was back with us. This bar does not sell Guinness beer and therefore the waitress spotted my friend holding the beer and asked him where he got the beer. As she continued to make the cocktails he answered that he got it next door and that he came just to tell everybody that he was ready and waiting. This where things turned South. She addressed him screaming on the top of her lungs: "GET OUT!", everybody (us and other groups near us) were looking perplexed without any reaction. She continued: "DO YOU THINK I'M KIDDING!?". The bar has no security due to the very small size, so she came around the counter to push him out of the bar as soon as the cocktails were ready and paid for. She pushed him out of the bar and our group followed. We were all outside telling her that there was no need for that and that we would consume the rest of our drinks outside. She said: "When you finish, bring the glasses back inside.".

I had the coffee and apple strudel, both were better than average. It was very busy at the time, but the staff were accommodating.
If you're passing by and you need a break, this place is well worth stopping into.

very good cocktails but small and crowded. good address before going dancing
