We booked a long stay for over 5000 Euros and asked for a quiet room in advance (multiple times).

Unfortunately they gave us a very loud room next to the elevator.

We tried changing the room 3 times but the situation did not improve. We feel not taken care of and it seems like our request was not considered. Very disappointing.

I would like to thank the management and staff of the hotel for welcoming people from Ukraine at such a difficult time. We will never forget your kindness and responsiveness. Thank you very much for sheltering us so far from our home.

All in all it is an ok hotel it has a fantastic shower and the location is spot on but that's were the pros end, a bit dated for the price you pay for it but that is sadly not the only problem. When you stay there for multiple weeks you will undoubtedly notice that you have to be lucky with housekeeping. You either get a fresh nice room or you'll see hair and dust from who knows who being on the bed and all over the place. As someone being allergic to dust these rooms sometimes are a nightmare.
The Wi-Fi also has some problems if you'll get a room at one of the ends of the hotel, it constantly disconnects and when it does connect, the internet is not enough for things like YouTube or even something simple like a news page.

UPDATE: Been here again during Mar 2022 and I've been treated to a very nice clean and functional place. Very happy to see that they have improved.

Very nice and cozy experience. Staffs were really good. The breakfast spread is massive and amazing. There is a convenience story right across the street. The metro station is also nearby. You can take a 10-15 mins walk and reach the Rhine side market place. Highly recommended as a place to stay in the city.

The beds are super comfortable and the bathroom is very nice. Except it is rather noisy and there's a chance you might hear the neighbours. The showerhead in our bathroom was also off to the side so it was not very comfortable to shower in the bathtub. The hotel is very clean and safe. We had a loud neighbour, I tried to call the reception at 1a.m. but the reception phone was shut off. I wanted to go downstairs to file the complaint but must admit I didn't feel safe in doing so and would have rather been able to call to the reception. However, when I got downstairs, the guy at the reception resolved it right away.

Added note; The parking garage underneath the hotel is very narrow. There are two parking garages within 10 minute walking distance that will only cost you €4 or €5 per day on the weekend. One of them is literally two minutes away from the hotel, it is closed for construction currently (tiefgarage Kirchplatz, June 2020) and the other (Qpark Friedrich street) is 8-10 minute walk away.

Booked this place for one night. Reception very nice and helpful! When we got to the room we only had twin beds. So I went back to the reception and requested a room with a double bed. We were lucky. They had one room left which we got immediately. Thank you very much for sorting that. They have also got Underground parking which costs €15 a night. If you have got a very big car (we have got a C4 grand), it may take a few attempts to get in and out of the car park. The hotel is also only 3 or 4 tram station away from the Old town (I think). Best to find out at the hotel. Breakfast starts at 7.00am at the weekend. It's got everything there you want (hot u0026 cold). Would we go back?: yes
