Usually, we just have some beers at the outside terrace, before we move to some nicer (less party crowded) spot. However, this time we went inside for dinner. Of course, and as to be expected in this area, it is crowded and loud. However, the service was good. Friendly and efficient. The food menu offers some German classics and local option. Few more healthy and lighter options are also available. Pricing fair. Quality too. After all, we enjoyed our dinner and can recommend the spot, if you seek for some German brewery atmosphere. The local kinda red beer is not for everyone but some alternative craft beer is available too.

The best Alt beer in Düsseldorf ( don’t come if you want a different beer! ) great selection of traditional German food and traditional brewery atmosphere. It can sometimes get very busy, but I always stop here for an Alt when I visit Düsseldorf.

Charming service from our very friendly waiter Matthias. He was very helpful with a Gluten Free dietary requirements. My pork was cooked to perfection...

Cozy brewery on a very busy street to chill and relax at the evening and at night.
I was expecting to find different types of beers but there is only one, which is Altbeer. Inside is very authentic with wooden texture, and outside is quite busy.

I would give 3.5 max.
The steak was over done.
Pommes were average.
Drinks were chilled.
Service were the worst part.

The food is good, same as beer. I was upset that we were made to move from our table to join another couple at a different table… Why? What is the concept? Why two couples need to sit at the same table if they were not choosing to do so?

Great local pub. Obviously it worst to taste local Alt beer. Small glass 0,2l cost 2,6€.
