I personally make a visit to this blessed Cathedral during the weekdays and not during Holy MASS CELEBRATION. The silence and calmness before the Holy picture of Mary help of Christians, which is situated on the left side of the main Entrance. I always experience a cleansing of my Thoughts and soul.

A beautiful Basilica. We attended a mess with the children's choir and it was a delight. The priest spoke very open minded and down to earth. We walked around afterwards inside and toured this beautiful church.

Altehrwürdiges Gotteshaus mit Basilikawache (damit dort kein Unfug getrieben wird!). Gerade ohne zusätzliche Beleuchtung finde ich die Atmosphäre besonders angenehm. Am besten einen der gedruckten Handzettel oder ein Heft (3.50 €) zum Rundgang mitnehmen, damit kein besonderes Detail der Ausstattung übersehen wird.
