Wir wollten nur 2 Tage in Duisburg übernachten und haben und ein kleines Hotel gesucht. Da ich von Dienstwegen her schon in mehreren "Hotel garni" war, dachte ich mir nichts dabei. Jedoch war unser Zimmer echt mies. Die Dusche war IM Wohnraum neben den Betten. Ein Waschbecken war an der Wand daneben. Ein WC gab es nicht. Dazu mussten wir altmodisch das Gemeinschaftsklo im Hausflur verwenden.
Die Gastgeberin ist schwer zu erreichen und hatte nicht immer den "fittesten" Eindruck gehabt. Wir waren froh, dass wir hier nur zum schlafen waren. Meine Empfehlung: Nicht buchen.

I look forward to the breakfast every morning: no anonymous buffet, but a large plate of cold meats, cheese vegetables and fruit, an egg, orange juice, jam, bread and rolls, coffee or tea, all served nicely on the square. Wi-Fi in the room works well, a free parking I have always found in the street. Within walking distance from the snack bar to the good restaurant (Lumar) everything you could wish for.

Ich war bereits mehrfach auf Geschäftsreisen im Hotel Garni Langen. Mir gefällt dort die persönliche Atmosphäre, jedes Zimmer ist anders und individuell. Ich habe kein Problem damit, auch mal ein Zimmer mit WC auf dem Gang zu nehmen. Ich freue mich jedesmal, Frau Langen wieder zu sehen. Das Hotel hat keine vier Sterne, dafür ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis perfekt. Ich freue mich jeden Morgen auf das Frühstück: kein anonymes Buffet, sondern ein großer Teller mit Aufschnitt, Käse Gemüse und Obst, ein Ei, Orangensaft, Konfitüre, Brot und Brötchen, Kaffee oder Tee, alles nett am Platz serviert. Wlan im Zimmer funktioniert gut, einen kostenlosen Parkplatz habe ich bislang immer in der Straße gefunden. In Laufentfernung gibt es von der Imbissbude bis zum guten Restaurant (Lumar) alles war man wünscht.
