This is was literally the best pasta in my life! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! Food is great, staff is very nice and attentive. They have a lot of reservations, maybe it is good idea to book a table a little bit in advance.

The ambiance is privat and comfortable. The food is delicious and the service is very friendly. But be aware if you are a foreigner and therefore do not have a German bank card, you have pay cash.

Anyone who thinks they want to end the evening there after 8 p.m. will be completely disappointed. Corona and the difficult situation in gastronomy don't really allow the earlier opening hours at the moment. I hope that will change again soon. It is also due to the remote Wallstraße and after 8:00 p.m. all shops there are closed. Anyone who gets lost there will find themselves in front of closed doors everywhere. So if you go shopping through the city during the day, you should definitely stop there and let yourself be tempted by the culinary delights. The evening is then better ended with a glass or a nightcap in other places that are still open after 8:00 p.m.
We will be happy to come back and take a look at the interior of the restaurant when the weather is bad. Today we sat outside in summery temperatures.

Die Wallstraße in Duisburg ist eher eine Straße in der Duisburger Innenstadt, die nicht viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bietet, und in den letzten Jahren eher ein Schattendasein fristet. Seit 15 Jahren zeichnet sich das Restaurant durch ausgefallen Speisen in Frische und Finesse aus. Die Speisekarte ist klein aber gut sortiert. Die wechselnde Wochenkarte verspricht auch Stammgästen viel Abwechslung bei den Gerichten. Alles wird frisch und liebevoll zubereitet und äußerst herzlich durch das sehr zuvorkommende Personal präsentiert. Auf Wunsch des Gastes werden auch gerne Gerichte kreativ neu kombiniert und zur vollsten Zufriedenheit umgesetzt. Die Preise sind moderat und der Qualität entsprechend. Wer meint, den Abend nach 20 Uhr dort ausklingen zu lassen zu wollen , wird jedoch gänzlich enttäuscht. Corona und die schwierige Situation in der Gastronomie lassen derzeitig nicht wirklich die früheren Öffnungszeiten zu. Ich hoffe das ändert sich bald wieder. Ebenso ist es auch der abgelegenen Wallstraße geschuldet und nach 20:00 Uhr sind dort alle Geschäfte geschlossen. Wer sich dort hin verirrt wird überall vor verschlossen Türen stehen. Also, wer tagsüber einen Einkaufsbummel durch die Stadt macht, sollte auf jeden Fall dort einkehren und sich von den kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten verführen lassen. Den Abend beendet man dann gut gesättigt besser auf ein Gläschen oder einen Absacker in anderen Lokalitäten, die nach 20:00 Uhr noch geöffnet haben.
Wir werden gerne wiederkommen und demnächst mal den Innenraum des Restaurants bei schlechtem Wetter in Augenschein nehmen. Heute saßen wir draußen bei sommerlichen Temperaturen.

Sehr süßer gemütlicher Laden. Das Essen ist super lecker. Es gibt eine kleine Speisekarte, aber diese reicht komplett aus. Der Fisch war super zart und die Nudeln al dente. Es wird Brot mit Olivenöl und Balsamico als Vorspeise serviert. Und der Aperol Spritz ist sehr empfehlenswert. Ein sehr, sehr gutes, kleines Restaurant, wo man die Frische der Produkte und die Liebe zum Essen schmeckt.
Eine kleine Menükarte und eine wechselnde Tageskarte zeugen davon, dass man hier mehr Wert auf Qualität und nicht Quantität legt. Und das ist gut so und das schmeckt man auch.

Dazu werden sehr schmackhafte Weine ausgeschenkt in einer sehr großen Vielfalt. Zurücklehnen und Genießen. Ein wunderbares Essen in gemütlicher und stilvoller Umgebung.

Ich hoffe dieses kleine „Perle“ wird bald noch mehr wahrgenommen, da das große Restaurant „Mediterran“ nebenan viele Gäste „blendet“ aber bei weitem nicht diese Frische und das Flair bietet wie dieses kleine sehr individuelle Restaurant.

Hier erlebt man einen italienischen Abend bei gutem Essen und gutem Wein. Kleiner Tipp, auch sehr gute und milde Grappa vorhanden. Der braune Grappa ist besonders gut.
