Nice café in Neustadt. When it is sonny staying outside is a great pleasure. Coffe is good and I had a very good yogurt with fresh fruits. Service is fine.

It seems I had a completely different experience here than most reviewers. My friend and i went in last week after walking for hours visiting the Christmas markets. We walk in and find a table all the way at the back and are greeted by a scowling customer sitting next to the available table, speaking German to us and making the money sign with her fingers. We don’t speak German, unfortunately, so have no idea what this lady is saying but it doesn’t take a genius to realize she was being rude. We ignore her, sat down and thankfully she left. We get a seemingly nice enough waitress that appears rather busy at the time and takes our order without any issue. The problem comes when I try unsuccessfully to wave her over to order another coffee. I am unable to get her attention so we just sit and wait. I see that she notices me a couple of times but instead of coming over she starts folding napkins and preparing cutlery. In the end she brings us the check, says thanks and walks off. Now I am aware that waitressing is different in Europe than in the US but my friend and i still left with this feeling that we were not entirely welcomed and rushed to make space for new customers. I hope you get a different waitress. We just felt odd after this so I wanted to tell my experience.

Couldn't live without it!!! Breakfast is amazing, coffee very good, sweets (cakes) are top notch... and... the Club Sandwich is just without comparison!!!
Two years later: still a great place but notoriously understaffed. Waiting times are at times ridiculous... owner should bite the bullet and put another person here... seriously!

Nice cafe for locals. Oslo Breakfast with salmon, trout and shrimp is delicious. Very good croissants. Omelettes are too fatty

It's not the cutest place but the food is fresh and delicious, and the prices are quite good. Large breakfast: very nice selection of cheeses, ham and bread.
