The fountain has three floors and is crowned by the ancient gods Amphitrite and Poseidon on a shell chariot. The chariot is driven by Zephyr and a Nereid. Next to it is a triton blowing a horn. On the pedestal on the left rests the Tiber with the reed wreath in her hair by an urn, on the right the Nile with a veiled head. On the pedestal on the left in relief the she-wolf with Romulus and Remus, in the background remains of ancient Roman buildings, on the right an Egyptian landscape with obelisks and the Pharus, on the left a sphinx surrounded by playing children. Ten springs flowed from the urns, the conch, the conch shell of the triton, the jaws of the hippocampal and the dolphin. In the large basin, two jets of water rose about ten meters high from small groups of rocks. Left and right ramps lead up to the heights of Poseidon.

Der Brunnen ist mit seinen wundervollen Wasserspielen immer einen Besuch wert❤️. Hier kann man in Ruhe seine Seele baumeln lassen und einfach einmal Stress und Hektik hinter sich lassen. Bänke und schattenspende Bäume laden zum Verweilen ein. Auch ein kleines und reizendes Cafe befindet sich gleich in der Nähe. Der Brunnen ist dreigeschossig aufgebaut und wird durch das antike Götterpaar Amphitrite und Poseidon auf einem Muschelwagen bekrönt. Der Wagen wird von Zephyr und einer Nereide gelenkt. Daneben ist eine Horn blasender Triton dargestellt. Auf dem Postament zur Linken ruht an einer Urne der Tiber mit dem Schilfkranz im Haar, zur Rechten der Nil mit verschleiertem Haupt. Am Postament links in Relief die Wölfin mit Romulus und Remus, im Hintergrunde Reste altrömischer Bauten, rechts eine ägyptische Landschaft mit Obelisken und dem Pharus, zur Linken eine Sphinx, von spielenden Kindern umringt. Zehn Quellen entströmten den Urnen, der Muschel, dem Muschelhorn des Tritonen, den Rachen der Hippokampen und des Delphins. Im großen Becken stiegen aus kleinen Felsgruppen zwei Wasserstrahlen gegen zehn Meter hoch empor. Links und rechts führen Rampen zu der Höhe Poseidons hinauf.
