I'm not sure what I expected but I didn't like it. The rooms were clean and renovated but so outdated.
Breakfast was typically German with a big selection of breakfast meat, cheese and jam. We had to pay separately for the breakfast which was okay yet we had to justify why we didn't book breakfast in advanced.

The room has the charm of days gone by, but was cleanly cleaned and had a bathroom with shower, bedroom with table, TV and fridge / bar.
The breakfast is clear but offers something for most tastes. In our opinion, it could be a little cheaper for what is on offer.
There are free parking spaces behind the house.
The university can be reached within a few minutes. It is a little further to the old town but in around 30 minutes it could be done with a stroller. We didn't use the tram, but it's supposed to leave nearby.
Our room was facing away from the busy main street.
All in all, budget accommodation.

Wir hatten zwei Nächte für zwei Erwachsene gebucht und hatten unser Kleinkind im eigenen Reisebett dabei.
Die Anreise ist mittels Zugangscode jederzeit möglich.
Das Zimmer hat den Charme vergangener Tage, war aber sauber gereinigt und bot Bad mit Dusche, Schlafzimmer mit Tisch, TV und Kühlschrank/Bar.
Das Frühstück ist übersichtlich aber bietet doch für die meisten Geschmäcker etwas. Es könnte nach unserer Meinung etwas günstiger für das Gebotene sein.
Es stehen kostenfreie Parkplätze hinter dem Haus zur Verfügung.
Die Universität ist innerhalb weniger Minuten erreichbar. Zur Altstadt ist es etwas weiter aber in rund 30 Minuten war das auch mit Kinderwagen zu schaffen. Die Straßenbahn haben wir nicht genutzt, sie soll aber ganz in der Nähe abfahren.
Unser Zimmer lag abgewandt zur stärker befahrenen Hauptstraße.
Alles in allem eine preisbewusste Unterkunft.
