Absolutely incredible home-cooked style German food. I got the roast bratwurst and sauerkraut and it was served with mashed potatoes and was just like my grandmother used to make. I loved it. Great friendly service too, and a good ambiance and patio.

Nice place not far from the Kreuzkirche. Well tasting Czech beer, Budweiser. We have eaten special bread and goose fat with the beer. We were served by a friendly waiter.

Lovely candlelit restaurant with local food options. We had the wild boar stew and the chicken parma with pasta. Both were exquisite and would highly recommend!

The name says it all really. Gänse in German means geese and this restaurant is all about the geese. From goose fat to goose fillets, it's Goose all the way. For the goose lovers out there... This is your one stop shop!!! Eat your hearts out and sing to the goose God's.

But for the non goose fans out there, this joint serves some good wholesome regional food and executes it to the bone.
They have a few seasonal specials, so don't forget to have a look into that.
They do fall short on a few dishes but overall it's hearty as hearty can be.

It's quite a comfy place frequently visited by families but there's no harm in sprucing up the place with a little noise. The staff are warm and highly welcoming which in turn gives you quite a pleasant experience all together.
