We had stopped in Café Sperling for a quick cup of coffee and dessert off of an recommendation. The café has a very tasteful interior decoration with a welcoming atmosphere. We ordered some coffee and a few slices of cake. Soft and not too sweet, the cake was delicate and delicious. Although the owner didn't speak a lot of English, she was very friendly. As a great spot for coffee in Dresden, we will definitely return whenever we're in the area.

Barista was very friendly and welcoming. Good atmosphere and sweet décor. Everyone found something they liked on the menu. The food presentation was amazing! Excellent experience all round.

Careful mastered cake ???? and the single place I know in DD where the home made Lemonade is not awfully sweet.

We drink our coffee there at least once a week. Very cute place and friendly service. (They do not have WiFi, in case you want to work there)

I just had an horrible small cappuccino take away (with my own cup) for €3.90.
If you want to keep expensive prices you should at list hire a barista who knows how to make a coffee properly.

This little cafe was lovely and so was the barista, who was sweet and quiet patient as we tried to relay our order given our lack of speaking German. The whole experience was warm and inviting. Wish we were hungrier for more than just coffee.

A tiny cafe that exudes boundless charm.
This beautifully furnished little cafe, on a quiet out-of-the-way street, has everything you want when looking for a warm drink on a cold day.
We stopped here on the way back from the Museum, before Christmas. Months later, this little coffee shop still weighs on my mind, as a fond memory of the city.
The homemade cakes were delicious, the coffee was fresh, and the service was impeccable.
Though my German is not great, and my girlfriend's German is next to non-existent, we picked up on the rules of a Christmas Calender game the cafe was playing with customers each day.
My girlfriend won on the first attempt. The owner was clearly just as excited as we were. The prize was a token, the real prize was the sense of festive spirit.
If asked, I would recommend in a heartbeat.
