Unique experience of Medieval food, great interior, good service with the Medieval way, great beers , great portion of plates and very well taste dishes. Recommended!

Wild feast. Lots of meat and a very dark atmosphere. It is more about the experience than the food. The Quality of the dishes are good and you can eat lots of the food with your hands. Be prepared for a different kind of dining. You will have lots of fun in this medieval tavern. Make sure to have a reservation though.

I'm not sure if you need a reservation or if you don't speak German they don't take care of you. I was there for 10 minutes, and no one ask me if I need anything, probably we in USA are used to good customer service.
The place was nice but I was jot able to eat here or at least have a seat to drink a beer.
Just one old men told me I'm sorry I'm sorry he opens the door and show me the way out.
Maybe they can improve since there is a lot English speaking customer coming to this town.

It takes a moment to get the hint. You're a customer here who needs to accept the traditions and the old kitchen. Great food and great atmosphere where only real candles light the room. Open a door to the stable and the goat and donkey will stair back at you.

when entering I thought it was a joke to have a medieval dinner, but I have to admit the food was superb. it was unusual to eat only with spoon and knife made out of wood, but a fun experience. not the best ideas to have a business meeting here. ;) besides that, it is awesome.

This is one of the best traditional German restaurant ever visited...you feel you are in 8th centuries and the food are really delicious and love to have beer in the mud jug and also fun to taste Camel and horse meat ☺️
