Very cute little bar. The drinks are good and so is the food. Small menu, but they make it themself, so this is very understandable. Sometimes because of that there is too view staff around and the waiting time gets a bit longer. But they make it up with a super friendly attitude.
Very good bar, I will come here again.

Chef has put his soul in the menu, dishes are tasty creative and simple at the same time. Wonderful. Your next step is you need craft beer , I wouldn't sell brink offs and the mainstream. Get craft beer and take the place to the next level !

The Viertelliebe, located in the Kreuzviertel neighborhood in Dortmund is a disaster.

It is totally overpriced, but more significantly, the food is awful. No surprise, since the staff is smoking in the kitchen.

I really can not recommend this restaurant, not even to my worst enemy. Don’t waste your money and your time.

We were warmly received and asked directly what we would like to have and our order was accepted. So far so good. For some reason, breakfast took about 25 minutes to arrive. We didn't even have anything like pancakes on the net or anything like that. We had the "does well" breakfast, which consisted of a multigrain bread, bread, and some jam (instead of butter), cream cheese and guacamole. The guacamole was not particularly good. The side salad was quite limited, but nice decoration. The spreads etc for the bread and roll were just enough. Why there is no jam or certain "basic things" for every breakfast is beyond me. It wasn't very much, and a little too expensive for that. The coffee tastes excellent, really very good! The café is nicely decorated and has a nice sitting area.
Conclusion: Too long a wait, too cold, too little food on the plate. A little tweaking and the rating could be better.

Sonntags 10 Uhr reserviert. Leider war es recht kalt in dem Laden, sodass man eigentlich eine Jacke anbehalten musste um nicht zu frieren. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und auch direkt gefragt was wir haben wollen würden und unsere Bestellung wurde entgegengenommen. Soweit so gut. Aus irgendeinem Grund hat das Frühstück ca. 25 Minuten gedauert bis es da war. Dabei hatten wir nicht mal so etwas wie im Netz Pancakes oder ähnliches. Wir hatten das "tut gut" Frühstück, welches aus einem Mehrkornbrötchen, Brot, sowie etwas Marmelade (statt Butter), Frischkäse und Guacamole bestand. Die Guacamole war nicht sonderlicu gut. Die Salatbeilage war recht beschränkt, aber nette Deko. DieAufstriche etc für das Brot und das Brötchen reichten gerade eben. Warum es Marmelade oder gewisse "Grunddinge" nicht grundsätzlich zu jedem Frühstück gibt, ist mir schleierhaft. Es war nicht sonderlich viel, und dafür etwas zu teuer. Dafür schmeckt der Kaffee exzellent, wirklich sehr gut! Das Café ist nett eingerichtet, und hat eine schöne Sitzecke.
Fazit: Zu lange Wartezeit, zu kalt, zu wenig Essen auf dem Teller. Etwas Feintuning und die Bewertung könnte besser ausfallen.
