The pizza bread that was served was too tough for me, unfortunately it also formed the basis for the bruschetta - which was then hardly edible with a knife and fork. I have often had my favorite pizza with Parma ham and arugula better prepared, the tomato sauce had little to do with the taste. You couldn't hand me spice oil either. My friends' steaks looked and tasted great too. As the restaurant became empty, the service staff had more time for glasses to be cleared, but not for us. Paying took forever and was also "bumpy", overall the impression was that the service staff were only very superficially interested in us. I know that from many restaurateurs, especially from upscale Italian restaurants, differently. A final drink is also often served on the house, which could be economically calculable with our invoice total. I don't know that we as guests could have given cause for such behavior. The attitude of the head of service gave me the rest, so I gave myself a response for the evening. Maybe they had a bad day, but I just didn't feel welcome. Pity!

Ich war zum ersten Mal dort und angesichts der gelesenen Bewertungen hatte ich mehr erwartet. Das Restaurant war voll, vielleicht hat es deshalb so lang gedauert, bis wir - und zumindest die Gäste am Nebentisch - schon einmal die Getränke bestellen konnten. Das gereichte Pizzabrot war mir zu zäh, leider bildete es auch die Basis für die Bruschetta - was dann mit Messer und Gabel kaum essbar war. Meine Lieblings-Pizza mit Parmaschinken und Rucola habe ich auch schon häufig besser zubereitet bekommen, die Tomatensauce hatte wenig zum Geschmack beizutragen. Würzöl konnte man mir auch nicht reichen. Die Steaks meiner Freunde sahen hervorragend aus und schmeckten ihnen auch köstlich. Mit leerer werdendem Lokal hatten die Servicekräfte mehr Zeit für abzuräumende Gläser, aber nicht für uns. Das Bezahlen dauerte ewig und verlief auch „holperig“, insgesamt kam der Eindruck auf, dass die Servicekräfte nur sehr oberflächlich an uns interessiert waren. Das kenne ich von vielen Gastronomen, insbesondere von gehobenen italienischen Restaurants, anders. Auch wird oft ein Abschluss-Getränk auf‘s Haus serviert, was bei unserer Rechnungssumme durchaus wirtschaftlich rechenbar sein könnte. Ich wüsste nicht, dass wir als Gäste Anlass für ein solches Verhalten gegeben haben könnten. Die Attitüde des Servicechefs hat mir dann den Rest gegeben, ich habe mir daher eine Rückmeldung zum Abend geschenkt. Vielleicht hatten sie einen schlechten Tag, aber ich habe mich einfach nicht willkommen geheißen gefühlt. Schade!
