The restaurant makes a cozy impression. But it quickly became clear that the cosiness would not last long. Since the kitchen staff smoke directly in front of the kitchen, a door is opened and remains open, which tends to pull our table neatly. Of course, the smell of cigarette does not fail to appear, but that was limited.
The order was quickly accepted. The staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, the food only came after 45 minutes. At the next table they apologized for the waiting time, because a larger company was a guest, but they saved us.
The food finally came and was nice and hot. Everything made a fresh impression, one could still work on the arrangement of the dishes on the plate. Unfortunately my meat (beef and pork) was only "seasoned" with hollandaise sauce and tasted rather bland. My friend's chop steak was too salty. I asked for mayonnaise and got some immediately - a whole bottle, were the little bowls out? There was salt and pepper in discarded canned milk bottles with a perforated lid, try dosing salt and pepper with them!
The salad bar was very "untidy" and nothing special.
The restaurant says: Stay with friends!
Yes, we treat people like friends. But that apparently only applies to regular guests, we were served "on the side".
Too bad, but it was different in Ema's pepper mill.

Vor einigen Jahren mal dagewesen und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Heute sind wir mal wieder da gewesen.
Das Restaurant macht einen gemütlichen Eindruck. Schnell war aber klar, dass es mit der Gemütlichkeit nicht lange hält. Da die Mitarbeiter der Küche direkt vor der Küche rauchen, wird eine Tür geöffnet und bleibt offen stehen, dadurch zog es an unserem Tisch ordentlich. Natürlich bleibt der Geruch von Zigarette da nicht aus, aber das hielt sich in Grenzen.
Die Bestellung wurde schnell entgegengenommen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Leider kam das Essen erst nach 45 Minuten . Am Nachbartisch hat man sich für die Wartezeit entschuldigt, da eine größere Gesellschaft zu Gast sei, dass hat man sich bei uns allerdings gespart.
Das Essen kam dann endlich und war auch schön heiß. Es machte alles einen frischen Eindruck, an der Anrichtung der Speisen auf dem Teller könnte man noch arbeiten. Leider war mein Fleisch ( Rind und Schwein) nur mit Sauce Hollandaise " gewürzt " und schmeckte recht fade. Das Hacksteak meines Freundes dagegen war zu salzig. Ich bat noch um Mayonnaise und bekam auch umgehend welche - eine ganze Flasche, waren die kleinen Schälchen aus? Salz und Pfeffer gab es in ausrangierten Dosenmilchfläschchen mit gelöchertem Deckel, versuchen Sie mal, Salz und Pfeffer damit zu dosieren !
Das Salatbuffet war sehr " unaufgeräumt " und nichts besonderes.
Das Restaurant sagt : Zu Gast bei Freunden !
Ja, es wird hier ein Umgang wie mit Freunden gepflegt. Aber das gilt scheinbar nur für Stammgäste, uns hat man " nebenbei " mitbedient.
Schade, aber das war mal anders in Emas Pfeffermühle.

NACHTRAG : Auf Grund des überaus niveaulosen Kommentares des Inhabers revidiere ich meine Sternebewertung weiter nach unten.
Übrig bleibt dann ein Stern, der allerdings auch unverdient ist.
