No idea why it is so well attended ... The restaurant was jam-packed, but unfortunately the food was not recommended.
It's a shame, I was looking forward to a simple but good sauerbraten ... At least that's what the advertising promised (see picture). Unfortunately it was more of a colorless mush. In terms of appearance and taste, it had nothing to do with the advertising image of the restaurant or with a simple sauerbraten.
The meat was about to dry up. There were 2 slices of sauerbraten, but both together had the thick of one according to the offer picture. The sauce was ok ... light acidity. Nothing to complain about.
Dr Rotkohl, on the other hand, was horrible. Unsavory color ... cruel taste! It tasted bitter, almost musty, and that's exactly how it smelled.
I went to eat there two years ago and really didn't give a positive impression.
Now I thought to myself I would give it another chance.
My conclusion..
If you like something like that, you can also buy a ready-made meal from the supermarket.
It's cheaper and tastes just as bad.

Keine Ahnung warum es so gut besucht ist... Das Restaurant war rappel voll, aber leider war das Essen nicht empfehlenswert.
Schade, ich hatte mich auf einen einfachen, aber guten Sauerbraten gefreut... So versprach es wenigstens die Werbung (siehe Bild). Leider war es eher eine farblose Pampe. Es hatte vom Aussehen und vom Geschmack nichts mit dem Werbebild des Restaurants, oder mit einem einfachen Sauerbraten zu tun.
Das Fleisch war kurz vor dem vertrocknen. Es gab 2 Scheiben Sauerbraten, allerdings hatten beide zusammen die dicken von einer laut Angebotsbild. Die Soße war ok..leichte Säure. Nichts zu bemängeln.
Dr Rotkohl dagegen war grauenhaft. Unappetitliche Farbe... Grausamer Geschmack! Er schmeckte bitterlich, schon fast moderich und genauso roch dieser auch.
Ich war vor 2 Jahren schon einmal dort essen und wirklich nicht positiv beiendruckt.
Jetzt dachte ich mir ich gebe dem ganzen noch einmal eine Chance.
Mein Fazit..
Wer so etwas mag, kann sich auch ein Fertigessen aus dem Supermarkt kaufen.
Das ist billiger und schmeckt genauso schlecht.

Im Karstadt Kaufhaus Dortmund gibt es ein "Restaurant Le Buffet". Wir waren heute am 01.04.2016 gegen 12:00 Uhr dort zum Essen. Meine Frau bestellte sich Seelachs, der nur lau warm war. Ich nahm ein Stück von der schon am Eingang groß angebotenen Lammkeule. Das Fleisch war so zäh dass ich es nur mit großem Kraftaufwand zerschneiden, bzw. essen konnte. Das Essen war auch nur noch lau warm. Das war unser letzter Besuch in diesem "Restaurant"!
