Very bad experience. I couldn't pay by card because it's just not possible paying with a foreign card!!! The waiter dared to tell me "du" auf deutsch and was disrespectful just because I didn't have a german Visa or cash.
Plus he didn't bring the ice I have ordered.
Very, very bad.

Very nice cafe and restaurant inside Westfalenpark in Dortmund with magnificent view of Florian’s Tower and water lily and lotus pond. A variety of food and snacks are offered as well as ice cream sundaes, cakes and coffee or tea. In summer, it’s great to sit at the Patio and enjoy the view of lovely flowers abounding this beautiful and huge garden which was once the venue of the Bundesgartenschau - National Horticulture Show. Kids friendly, this Café has something for children to enjoy indoor, small library and toys. But I warn you the staffs are not so friendly and service is very slow!

Very bad customer service. During CoVid they only sell take-outs. We ordered fries and bratwurst with fries. When we paid the guy didn't give us the ketchup in packets as we ordered, we didn't even know that they give out ketchup when you pay. When the food was ready, the lady told us that we should have gotten our ketchup, but we didn't! She asked the guy at the cashier and he had the audacity to say that he had already given us the ketchup, but he didn't! Why would a customer lie about not receiving ketchup in packets?? How difficult it is to just be nice to your customer?? In the end the lady just tossed us ONE packet of ketchup as if they were doing us a favor for both portions of food that we paid. The food wasn't even good and we thought we could support their business in times like these! For someone who doesn't speak fluent German this kind of thing is very frustrating because you feel like your voice doesn't matter even when you try very hard to explain in German, they still treat you badly. Never again!

This cafe had the rudest old woman working here on 17/10/2020. She was very unpleasant, didn’t greet the customer, and then was upset when we needed to find where to go to get into the restaurant ourself. I understand with COVID-19 that procedures are different, but common courtesy and speaking to guests when they are standing in front of you isn’t too much to expect.
