I should say the interior is well done.
The restaurant is clean!
Coming to food i would say there is no wow factor. Just normal Thai food. ! What i Love is the ginger tea which I have ordered. The lady staff was not that welcoming ans she even handed over the menu when we were waiting to be seated(well from my gastronomy experience it is not a polite way to do so.)

Lovely ambience and lots of space, right in the middle of Kalk.

I got the rice noodle salad with beef. Sadly, the noodles were soggy and the dressing a little watery. Tastes fine, but not very authentic.

Very beautiful and warm place. The outside is very busy while you can also have a cozy experience inside. It's erfect for couples or meet up.
The meals are very tasty and not expensive. I love it there and will go again.

Stopped there a little bit by mistake when looking for a place with vegan alternatives. Super good surprise!
It is very affordable (7-9 euros per dish) and portions are generous! Most of all it was super delicious and I would recommend this place to everyone going to Koln. Bonus: the terrace is great!

UPDATE: on our recent visit we did not saw the Halal mark and on asking they confirmed they do not serve Halal meat anymore!! It's a pity.

So glad to have found this place. Really amazing food with very reasonable prices and the best thing of all is its Halal food. You rarely find halal Thai-Viet specialities which also taste good so personally I am stoked. Now to the restaurant itself: the place inside has a retrievable roof so its almost open air, which is great in these Covid times. The staff is super nice and overall a very pleasant experience. We have already been few times over and I think they have one of the best fried duck breast, not overly oily and you can still get the taste of the meat. Few things that did not go per our expectations were the dishes with beef variation, the meat was a bit chewy so will maybe avoid that one. Also, the TomYam soup was a bit underwhelming but all their main dishes, specially masaman curry and Padthai were brilliant. Give it a try and am sure you will be pleasantly surprised.

Nice food and nice ambiance, varied vegetarian options… however 4 stars because no card payments.
