Superb a real pub!! Very good atmosphere, with a gaffer of the highest caliber. Not to be missed with real ale (bottled) on sale as well as the usual choices on draught.

Cracking little Irish pub. Found this on the way back to our hotel. Great host good beer and a great playlist. Makes a change to hear Irish music in an Irish bar. Will definitely make a return visit when next in Cologne.

Best place in town. You'll meet locals there and people from all over the world. If the place isn't that crowded, you can also have a chat with the owner, who is the perfect tour guide for cologne. Unfortunately they don't serve food there, but you can order at the store next to it, and the, will bring you the food to your table. You should also ask for the rum tasting, which is really cool.

Excellent little neighbourhood bar north of the old town. Good drinks selection and friendly bar staff and regulars. My wife and I enjoyed a couple of nights in here recently while in Cologne for a weekend. Great atmosphere and everyone is helpful and approachable.

Good Guinness and Kilkenny too. Great music, friendly bar staff and a happening vibe.
