Truly genuinely Japanese food, prepared in front of your eyes. Has an authentic sushi counter, and serene and minimalistic interior. The walls are decorated with art from a nearby gallery. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Having eaten at the best Japanese restaurants in Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, and Munich, this is one of the absolute best and the prices are very fair. Having lived in Japan, this is as close as it gets to the real thing.

Best Sushi in Cologne! Authentic Japanese Sushi u0026 Cuisine - means if they don't serve it in Tokyo, you won't find it here. Very subtle flavors that are balanced with one another. You won't find deep fried rolls smothered in Eel Sauce here. Always very fresh fish, great service, in short perfection.

One of the top Japanese restaurant that I've visited in Germany! Very good choice of restaurant if you're looking for authentic Japanese restaurant with fresh ingredients and great service.

Not your 8 euro bento or sushi box place. Complain for quality if it isn't worth the price, but this restaurant does offer that quality that's fair for the price. Ingredients can vary by day, but during my visit their Tuna was on point ????????????. Highly recommend.

TLDR, the best authentic Japanese restaurant in Köln!

I try to get a bar seat whenever I am here. The owner, Arakawa-san is a real pro at his craft. It's always a delight to watch him and his staff at work.

The nigiri set Dekkaiko (€29) never fails to please my palate. The Matcha ice-cream is delicious as well, with the taste and texture of kakigori.

Very nice and intimate Japanese restaurant, finally something different than those imitation you find all around Köln. A corner of Japan in Germany, like snitching into an Izakaya. Try the Syake and the udon soup combined with a set of uramaki. Truly suggested, double thumbs up!

We ordered a number of different plates, each one of then was unique and tasty. Can’t wait to come again. One of the best Japanese restaurants in Cologne without a doubt.

Once again, excellent Sushi. Traditional Japanese n the sense that if you can’t get it in Tokio, you won’t find it here. Consistency is great too. Friendly staff, modern decor. Only negative are the strict hours. No new customers after 1:30 for Lumch. Best Sushi in the area.
