Parkhotel St. Georg Köln

This hotel needs some serious renovation. Very cold and drafty in the room with no temperature control. The windows might as well have been open! Also very terrifying large dogs on the property who are not friendly to the guests. We weren’t offered breakfast but not sure that we’d want it as the place wasn’t the cleanest either. Not my best experience. Shame because the location is quiet and beautiful and has very easy access to Cologne centre.

Stay here and you will probably be sorry. It is my fault for not reading the other reviews in time before I booked. I'm currently in my non-smoking room and it reeks of second hand smoke. Everything is dirty and smelly. TV is not operational. Smoke detector is clearly missing from the attachment in the ceiling and I can find no other. Shower drain is clogged and there are many broken fixtures. Two large Great Danes are roaming freely in the courtyard leading to reception. Apparently they are pets of the hotel. They also bark late at night. This gives me an uneasy feeling going out. The garage parking is also being used as storage for some classic cars and other weird non-guest automobiles. Not a big deal but odd. The older man running the reception was unpleasant, although the rest of the staff were friendly. This place is a joke but more importantly it is a health and safety hazard. 1 STAR for the entraining story I get to tell friends and family after I survive this nightmare.

Good location - 2 minutes walk to ubahn and 20 minutes by traon to the city centre then. Reasonable breakfast. Close to the airport too. Beware of a big dog though.

One of the worst experience I have ever had in my life. A very old, dirty and cold room, also 2 barking "Great dane" bonus at the entrance..

Very bad rooms has no heaters and the temperature was 5 to 7 degrees

Nice . I slept good. Great if have pets .
