Merheimer Heide is a beautiful place to walk around with your dog ????. It has a mini gym to exercise. I gave it 5 stars ✳️ because Merheimer Heide is a beautiful park to go to after work or school.

Great park for picnics. Big open space, some nice wooded trails, playground, dog park, and workout center.

Nice place to hangout with family, has kids play area. Can do picnic, barbecue etc., jogging, fitness activities, 2.5 km peripheral park big enough for any number of people at a time

Merheimer Heide is a larger green spot in the Cologne area. It is quite popular to the point that it often feels a little busy on good days (though not as bad as other green spots around Cologne).

You will not escape the noise of traffic here. But at least it's possible to have a bit of a walk in some greenery.
