Maison Baguette

We had an absolutely terrible experience here. We were going with six colleagues for lunch yesterday:

We arrived at 1245ish, and greeted by the nice waitress. We ordered the fairly priced menu of a baguette, pancake and drink. The baguette was actually nothing special, and we finished this about 1315. Then the true horror started.

We had to wait for over half an hour or the six crepes. We asked the waitress. We then asked the owner, that blatantly lied to us: "The pancakes are cooking right now, they'll be out soon". And it took another 15 minutes.

We had to go inside because we needed to pay because we had to go back to work. One colleague already had to leave. Then to top it all off, instead apologizing, the owner said: "When you're with such a big group, you need to call before".

No sir. You would have to give us the heads up, or hire more people. This is so unprofessional, and you just prioritized other customers over us. Which is fine, but don't blame us.

Never. Ever. Again.

I got the chance to try this fame place out a few weeks ago. Ok, I didnt deserve the whole portion, as I already had something else which wasnt less tempting.

No matter you picked Crepes or Gallettes, they should be to your favor. One in all, all in one. Great taste, nice service and fair price. Too bad the venue is very tiny and too simple, lets say its more a bistro to a maison to me. Yes, you could enjoy the baguettes outside tho, passing the busy Venloerstr., if you dont mind

I'd def. come back. For sure, my recommendation!

Very tasty sandwiches, a variety of choices and a very friendly chef. Preparation can take a while, so bring some time or order ahead.

Tried a baguette once, it was a nightmare, tasteless and cold baguette.
