Very friendly staff except for one woman Who was acting a bit hectic. English not perfect so sometimes a bit trouble with communication. Hotelrooms were very clean and it felt like an actual hotelroom which is good for the cheap booking.

Not recommending the food but it's doable if you don't mind low variation.

The building needs renovation and a lot of it. It's very outdated interior needs an upgrade as well, I've found. Anyway, what you get is:
- old building without notable character.
- old and quit tacky interior.
- no other language than German.
- a metrostation right out your window, very loudly so.
- no fridge and safe.
- uncomfortable beds, especially the pillows. were on their last legs.
- 2 out of 4 staffmembers were friendly. All made the impression not to be professionals in the branch.
- In total, it was cheap, but not that cheap when considering what you get.

This hotel and restaurant is near to business area and some businessmen would stay here when they have business trip. Although it is not close to city center, the good thing is that it’s just a few steps from the tram station.

I never stay in this hotel, instead I went to its restaurant quite many times. It is one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants in Cologne that I've so far found.

Dishes that I like here including:
Cold dishes:
Garlic pork, Pickled Chinese cabbage, Marinated Assorted Meat (lǔ shuǐ pīn pán).

Warm dishes:
Fried pork, Fried green bean, Fish soup, Fried eggplant with salted fish, Steam fish, Fried green vegetable, Fried beef, Steamed dumpling filled with minced meat and gravy.

The food price is also very reasonable.
