Nice, cosy and clean but a bit too old-school for my taste... probably subjective :)

Very nice rooms and modern bathrooms. Quiet area and friendly staff. Price was great too. Would have been 5 stars except for breakfast. I asked when I arrived what time breakfast ended just to be safe. Was told 0930. Came down at 0905 and was told breakfast ended at 0900. Eventually I was given what was left over, few pieces of cheese and salami, 2 small pieces of bread, and had to ask for a cup of tea since nothing was brought out or offered to drink. If I had overslept and missed breakfast, fine that's on me and I wouldn't expect anything. I was told what time breakfast was and I showed up at that time. Don't make it painful for me to get some food and a cup of tea because the staff doesn't know what time breakfast is.

We were lucky to get a last minute room for the night, Cologne was really crowded. It was a single room, so the bed was small but very comfortable, one of the better hotel mattresses I've had. The best things about the hotel were the relative short way to the centre (about 10 minutes walking and 20 minutes train) and the really good breakfast. We usually do not go for hotel breakfast. But here it was included, which made it even more surprising!

Hotel Regina is the first hotel i've stayed at in Koln, and i loved every single thing about this hotel! The rooms were very cozy, especially comfortable when it was winter! I'm not really a breakfast person, but the breakfast they serve were amazing, with too many foods to choose from. The staff who welcomed us was very kind, and made sure i got the room immediately. The other staff who prepares the breakfast was also very hospitable, and the old man who stays up late was very quiet but friendly. He even helped me get a taxi for my early morning flight, so i really appreciated it a lot. If i come back to Koln, i'd like to stay again at Hotel Regina. Two Thumbs Up!

Well located, not to highly priced, 3* max. Bit narrow and small inside, but bed was ok and that was why I was there! Sanitary could be better maintained. Breakfast was excellent must say!!

Bad hotel with small rooms and limited choices for breakfast.
Do not recommend at all.

The hotel was OK. It was really ok. (It doesn't mean that it's good.)
But the important thing is the hostess(landlady). She is very CRAZY. She is very very stubborn and very annoying. I've never seen that CRAZY WOMAN.
HORRIBLE!!!
