If you want to sleep in your grandmother's couch, this is the place for you. Everything, including the wiring is old. The rooms have a key which locks on one side. Not totally safe if you're travelling solo. The bed was the comfiest part of my stay everything else was a little dated.

Unglaublich! This IS the place to stay in the city! Loved the bed, wonderful shower, friendly helpful staff. There are USB ports next to the beds for easy tech charging.???? No need for a key because someone is at the front desk 24 hours/7 days. Will highly recommend.

Stayed here for several times now, and the rooms have always been spotless. Staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast is fresh and varied, would recommend!

Perfect location - about 5 minutes walk to Central Station. Close to cathedral and the Rhine. Staff very friendly and made us feel welcome. Good range of foods for breakfast. Would have liked tea making facilities in the room but not a major problem - having a mini bar was good as we could buy water and keep it cool. Room a little hot but there was a fan provided. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone who was planning a visit to Cologne.

The parking as advertised was full so we had to pay more in the public parking, but our room was a good size with a sofa and modern bathroom. The bed was very comfy. It was clean and being on the first floor was good because there is only 1 small elevator and we didn't need to use it. Breakfast was OK but you can also go to a cafe or bakery just as well.

Very short: this hotel is in any case not a 4 stars hotel, don't get high expectations. 2,5 -3 stars is a max. I had a single room. It was small room with old furniture. It was hot in the room and I had an old ventilator that was making noise like it's was going to break at any minute. The hotel is on top of the bar so on Saturday while I was trying to sleep my bed was dancing in the rythme of the music. On the positive note, the staff is very friendly and the location is very central.

Very nice hotel, located just a few blocks from the Cologne Cathedral. Out the window from our room, we could just barely see the steeples of the Cathedral! The staff was very courteous and professional, and we had no problems (though housekeeping came a bit earlier than we expected, before 9 AM). The bed was quite firm (not necessarily a bad thing, but be aware).
