Clean. Modern room. Bright. A lot of windows. It's in the city center (pro and con) so if you open the window it can be noisy (restaurant, motorcycle, police - windows have a good noise cancelling.
Friendly. Breakfast is sufficient. Kids friendly. No air-condition.
Nice terrace.
Visited in spring.
Nothing to complain about.

Pretty decent hostel. Room is fairly spacious. Mattress is pretty uncomfortable, though. Some kind of foam, but not the nice type.

Breakfast is included and ok. The sort you'd expect from a hostel, I guess.

Location is decent. Close to a lively neighbourhood with lots of restaurants nearby. Not too noisy, though, which is important.

Room was booked for me as part of a conference in Köln, so can't comment on price.

Very central location - comfy beds - good breakfast! Ideal if you want to rest or party! Everything is close by - highly recommended

Very nice position, close to the city Center, quite noisy and not the cleanest though.
Breakfast was ok, nothing memorable but in line with what paid.

This is the best place for a stay in Cologne. It is situated within walking distance from the main train station. It is walking distance to the Neumarket district. Several restaurants and shops in the vicinity.
The hostel is clean and orderly. We had a family room enough for a mother, father and 4 little ones. The breakfast is truly continental with several options. I recommend this hostel for all and sundry. Anytime I visit Cologne, this hostel will be home to my family and I. The location is very safe but busy with several folks going up and down the streets.
I would like to add that the people in the vicinity are very welcoming, friendly, and kind. They are willing to go out of their way to assist and or provide directions. I cannot wait to visit again.
Way to go Hostel Koln.

Simply the best!! 5 stars deserving without a single star!! Perfect location and very friendly, dynamic young team. Indeed a home for a short sojourn. Keep it up!!
