It is a cozy place to come and take a coffee, but I really didn't like the cake that I had. It tasted like nothing and prices are above average. Staff is good and it seems like a clean place.

Coffee came from a standard machine, so it tasted like something from a motel breakfast. Very basic, and no options for lactose intolerant people. The dessert was okay, but nothing special. The vibe of the place wasn’t cozy at all.

Super service, super place. The staff were very polite and helpful. Top service. Nice but also large. All in all a nice place to take a break.

Had coffee and cake, probably the best true German type cafe I have found on my trip.
Quick service, and toilets for customers....but you need a euro

Exactly the type of classic German konditorei I was hoping to find. They appear to be few and far between in Cologne! Waitresses in black with little aprons, delicious array of cakes and pastries and good coffee. They also do light snacks and sell beer and wine but I was desperate for café und kūchen and a slice of the delicious and seasonal plum cake with whipped cream plus a cup of unfancy coffee was just the ticket.
Be aware that German cakes are not so sickly sweet as most of their British counterparts.

Classic German cafe with incredible cakes. Perfect place to stop when in Cologne. I had a chocolate tart that had a surprise raspberry base and my colleague had a vegan chocolate slice. Pleasant service, lots of seating and great atmosphere. I recommend.

It was a great surprise. The attendant was very kind and she even tried to help us choosing our breakfast even though we don't speak german. The pie cream was light and the krapfen was delicious.
