Lovely little place in the hip part of Cologne. The place is built like a time machine with its decor. The locals mentioned it’s usually tough to get a table on a weekend. But i managed to one within 40 min of queues. The food was great, schnitzel done well. Maybe not the best in the world but definitely the best one in Cologne. The food took ages to come mostly due to the sheer number of guests being served. The staff is friendly u0026 overall its a local gem.

The place is wonderful and food delicious. The best schnitzel I have ever eat. Three stars just because of waiter(older man) who was a bit rude when we asked how big is each portion (big and small). Place to visit and if you can have young waiters that would be the best, they also speak English

Very busy, make sure you book a table in advance. They accept walkins but be prepared to wait 45 to 60 minutes for a table.
The portions are massive and i think its more for tourists than locals. I've had better quality schnitzel and to be honest chips were a little undercooked and hard.
By all means worth a visit and make sure your hungry when you visit. I would always recommend a sauce, as it can be a bit dry.

This is the BEST place I have ever tasted. It was the second time I've been to Cologne and the second time in this place, and the service and food continued to be the BEST.

It's a must when you're in Köln. The “original” schinitzel with mushroom sauce is PERFECT and the small portion is big enough for one person. The beer is great and the service is kind.
PS: they accept payment with debit card and they have 2 options of vegetarian plate (cheese and celery).

Tasty schnitzel ???? We reserved a table at the spot and had a walk for about an hour and came back for the table. I had Jägerschnitzel from pork, small portion. My friend had Oma Paula Schnitzel from calf with pepper sauce, pig portion. Our meal costed about 52€ in total. Friendly waitress.

We had perfect dinner. Their schnitzel is amazing. You should try their fantastic home made cocktails. Very friendly staff and good food. Strongly recommended place. They deserve more than 5 stars :)

This is the place to have a Schnitzel when you're in Cologne. Be prepared to wait in line for a while in order to get inside, but that is totally worth it. In a very traditional atmosphere the great staff manages to make you feel at home and enjoy a nice meal along with some beers. The closer you sit to the counter, the faster you will get your refills.
