I asked the hotel in advance about the possibility of charging an electric car. I got the answer that the hotel has two electric car charging points, but when I arrive late in the evening, possibly those charging stations are already in use. When I arrived at the hotel at 11pm, I went to check out those electric car charging stations in the hotel parking lot. There was no indication at the charging points that they were charging points for electric cars. A normal internal combustion engine vehicle was parked at both electric car charging stations. However, I personally chose the hotel on the grounds that there is a possibility to charge electric cars. Even now, that charging option would probably have been if those parking spaces had been clearly marked / reserved only for electric cars. For myself, that meant one extra charge stop for the next day.

I arrived at the hotel at 11pm. My room toilet flushing didn’t work, so I had to flush that toilet using the trash. I was already so tired of traveling for a long day that I couldn’t go to ask to change rooms anymore. It would be a good idea to check in advance that, for example, the toilet is working.

My hotel room was carpeted. For the mildly allergic, that carpet is not a preferred solution.

The room itself was relatively clean and quiet. Breakfast was not very varied, but it still provided the necessary energy for the day.

We stayed one night there. I could park my car for free in the hotels parking and also charge my EV for free as well. The room were standard Bu0026B concept rooms nothing to complain. The hotel’s location is nice, and not really far from Köln city center. There is alot of E-scooters in front of hotel, ride and come back easy.

Great place close to the city center of Cologne. Free parking with a facility to charge. Less but enough breakfast options. Small rooms for our liking but that is the standard for Bu0026B. Rooms look new and fresh.

The bed was not comfortable but the room was clean and the proximity to the LANXESS arena, where we had to attend a comedy show, was really good. The staff is nice, and the check-in is super quick. Very ok for 1 night but I would say not more due to how uncomfortable the bed was.

We have stayed one night at the Hotel. Staff were polite and friendly.
Room was very nice, clean and small!
Breakfast was really good.

Check in was efficient and quick. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was well worth the 10,50€

Terrible experience at this hotel. No hot water on the first morning, took cold showers. Asked at the desk about it on our way out, and the desk agent pretended not to know anything about it, but that he would check and follow up with us. Returned that night, no follow up, so assumed all was fixed. 2nd morning, still no hot water. Enquired at the desk again, this time they acknowledged that the whole building had no hot water for the 2nd day. Desk agent promised follow up again, that management was discussing compensation. Pointed out that no one followed up yesterday, but was assured that he would. Returned that evening to no follow up from anyone again.
At check out, asked what the resolution would be, agent didn't know we had any problem. When asked about the lack of hot water for 2 full days, the agent said we should have spoken to them at the time!!! I explained that we had, but he again could do nothing and promised a follow up by email from the hotel manager. Needless to say, that follow up never came again!
I emailed their head office about what was going on with the problems at the hotel, and the complete failure of customer service. They replied to me that they were pleased there was a "quick solution" of the problem!!! They didn't feel that there was any call for compensation for either the lack of hot water, or the hotels response!! They begrudgingly offered a €20 voucher toward a future stay! Lol. They clearly need that €20 more than me, they can keep it!! Find a different hotel to stay, the Bu0026B clearly feels that the new Customer Service is No Service.
