Wij waren op woensdag bij de Villa. Toen we aanbelden, hoorden we dat het museum helaas gesloten was. Donderdag weer open.. voor ons helaas geen haalbare optie.
We liepen rond het huis en maakten wat foto's van de buitenkant en de tuin. Plots kwam er een mijnheer op ons af, verontschuldigde zich voor het feit dat ze gesloten waren en dat dat op de website niet zo duidelijk was.. We vertelden dat we uit Nederland kwamen en de volgende dag helaas niet zouden kunnen gaan kijken.
Toen verraste hij ons: Hij wilde ons wel even binnen laten kijken op de benedenverdieping!! Hij liet ons de trouwzaal zien en vertelde dat de boeken in de boekenkast al 100 jaar daar stonden.
