it has an amazing collection of archeology worth for visiting. But there are no description for early Saxon history before they will convert to Christianity. Also they are selling Longobards accessories at their shop but no exposition at the museum ! I'd like to keep on visiting here to see how they will improve it.

Just go! This was way better than the city size would let on. I came with 3 star expectations and got pleasantly surprised.

It's really good. So much thought has gone into everything. The history is interesting, especially if you live in Saxony, and the building itself has a fascinating history. It's a wonderful, modern museum that's a joy to be in.

This by far the most interesting museum in the city which gives an inspirational and insightful overview about archeological history of not only the region but also the entire human species. The different temporary exhibitions are awesome and cover various topics of life.

Awesome place. You will need 2 days to enjoy it all - or at least 3 hours! Highly recommend
